It can be hard in today’s day and time to figure out what religion to be, let alone how to practice and study. In our western society, Christianity prevails, and that makes it hard to find good, quality information about other religions. Not to mention the fact that it is frowned upon to be a beginner wicca practitioner. If you have decided to be a beginner wicca practitioner, this general information should help you to get started.
The beauty of wicca or a pagan is the freedom of will. The sole concept is that you may and can do as you wish, as long as it harms none. Now this doesn’t mean that you should do drugs or whatever you wish. At a deeper level, you need to develop the ability to see how everything effects everyone else. This, in the end, creates the need for you to develop an extremely deep sense of responsibility about your life, your actions, and how both effects everyone else. This is an absolutely necessary element to understand when you are a beginner wicca practitioner.
The next step to think about when becoming a beginner wicca practitioner is to sit and think about whether or not you really want to take the time and commit to study and practice. I will be honest and up front with you, wicca takes lots of time to research and learn. There are herbs, plants, energies, elements, symbols, tools for ritual, rocks, colors, spells, rituals themselves, holidays, covens, and a bunch of other information that you will have to take the time to learn about and understand.
There is no sugar coating it, becoming a beginner wicca practitioner takes a lot of time and energy to get a real understanding of witchcraft and all of the resources out there. Chances are that you will spend your entire life and only grasp a small fraction of it all. You must be willing to make the commitment if you really wish to become a beginner wicca practitioner. You can be one of those people who learn a thing or two and prance around pretending to be a wiccan, but I have no respect for those types of people. Learn because you want to, not because you want to try and be cool to other people.
Once you are ready to become a witch, wiccan, pagan, or beginner wicca practitioner, or whatever you wish to call it, you need to find someone who can teach you what you need to learn when it comes to the knowledge and development process. Find teachers that can show you the ropes and take you step by step through the process of becoming a witch or beginner wicca practitioner.
